I am a qualified and experienced counsellor, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, and Certificates in Stress Management and Creative Supervision. I’m also a qualified and experienced supervisor offering supervision to qualified and student counsellors, and those working in job roles where it’s helpful for their wellbeing to have a safe caring space to explore the work and its impact on them.
A member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (BACP), I work to the code of ethics set down by the BACP ethical framework.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked as a freelance learning and development consultant specialising in management development, and work place bullying and stress. and as a freelance licensed trainer for the award-winning Springboard Womens’ Development Programme
I work with adult clients, men and women, with a range of issues including anxiety and depression, low confidence and self-esteem, loss and bereavement, and relationship difficulties. I have a special interest in university student issues, womens’ health and issues experienced in later life.
I offer to work with you either face to face at the practice or online via Skype, whichever suits you best.
